For up to the minute information regarding the Watershed Study - see the Engineering Watershed Study
The City for the last five months has partnered with Chagrin Valley Engineering to study the Lower Brookside Watershed, an area plagued with flooding and erosion problems.
The Study is being funded through a low-interest loan from the Ohio EPA through their Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF).
In October we held a project kick-off meeting and have received a good amount of resident feedback on the history of the flooding and erosion problems on their properties. We have also engaged the City of Broadview Heights and ODOT to investigate storm water runoff that originates in the upper headlands of this watershed.
The entire DRAFT STUDY document prepared by Chagrin Valley Engineering is complete and available for public review and comment at the following links.
