Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan

(SWPPP) is processed through the City Engineer and passed on to the Cuyahoga County Soil and Water Conservation District.  All sites where disturbance of an acre or more is anticipated must secure a National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit.

Flood Plain Administrator

The City Engineer assists the Building commissioner who is designated the Flood Plain Administrator.  Under the Engineer's direction, this department enforces the City's Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance for compliance with FEMA's National Flood Insurance Program.  A Flood Hazard evaluation and permit must be secured prior to any development within the designated Flood Hazard District.
