Heart and Soul Meditation - Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, Mindfulness Series

4-Week Series
Tuesdays, September 24th, October 1st, October 8th & October 15th
6:30pm - 8:00pm
Attending all four weeks would be most beneficial, but is not a requirement
Residents and Non-Residents: 4 weeks for $100 or $30 per individual class

September 24th - Mindfulness Basics
- Building a foundation for happiness. Finding tranquility in a frantic world. Meditation is the key to a serene inner life. Learn how to put it into practice.

October 1st - The Science of Mindfulness
- How does meditation and mindfulness affect and even improve your brain? The latest research on the benefits of living more intentionally. The Mind-Body Connection- Mindfulness can improve body awareness and conscious eating.

October 8th - Stress Reduction
- Living in the moment can take the edge off our hectic and chaotic post-modern life. Mindful Sleep - Have trouble falling or staying asleep? Tired of being tired all the time? Here's how to get the rest you need.

October 15th - Mindfulness in the Workplace -
Staying serene in a sea of stress. You can love your job. Plus, mindful strategies for dealing with difficult workers. Mindfulness Relationships - Discover mindful listening. Improve relationships through mindful living.

Indoor Tennis Lessons

4 1-Hour Classes, Monday Evenings @ Indy Fieldhouse
Session 1: September 9th - September 30th
Session 2: October 7th - October 28th
8:15pm - 9:00pm
Residents $65, Guests $75

Students will learn tennis play while developing a foundation in stroke fundamentals, court coverage and the rules of the game. Class size limited to 8 participants.


Residents: Free with Pass or $3 without a pass
Guest Fees: $5 per Session or Punch Card 10 sessions for $40

Sundays: 10am - 12pm / Civic Center / Advanced (skill 3.5 - 5.0)
Mondays: 6pm - 9pm / Fieldhouse / Beginner/Intermediate (skill 1.0 - 3.0)
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 9am - 11am / Fieldhouse / Beginner/Intermediate (skill 1.0 - 3.0)
Wednesdays: 7pm - 9pm / Fieldhouse / Advanced (skill 3.5 - 5.0)

Come join the fastest growing sport in the nation. It's for all ages and experience levels. Pickleball is a combination of tennis and ping pong played on a badminton size court. Learn the basic skills of Pickleball on Monday and Wednesday sessions including: rules, scoring, basic strokes, serve and reception. Please wear comfortable clothes and appropriate indoor court shoes. Basic Equipment available or bring your own.
