Complete internet signup is coming soon. We're in the process of designing the menus for the most convenient access and so it mimics the spotlight that you receive in the mail. For the time being you can view all of the programs available at the Civic Center by clicking the link below. We will publish new information in the spotlight when you can complete a registration on the internet.
A Valuable Variety of Programs & Services
The Independence Civic Center is home to an impressive Community Services Department. Natalie Buc directs our Community Services Department and outreach program that serves virtually every age resident.
The detail of programs is documented and published in our Community Spotlight Newsletter. This calendar of events is published every other month and delivered directly to each resident's home.

BUDGET BILLING IN THE NOPEC ELECTRIC PROGRAM
It is not possible, at this time, for the supply portion of the bill to be on a budget basis. This is the actual electric power that we purchase under our NOPEC contract.
However, residents can continue to budget bill the transmission and distribution portion of their bill.
Currently, NOPEC is working with our supplier to see if it is possible to offer budget billing in the future.

Winter Camp
If you would like to signup your child for Winter Camp, please print out and fill out the following forms. Bring these with you when you signup to help expedite the signup process.
The Community Services Department provides a wide variety of services to meet the needs of our residents. The Civic Center is a beehive of activity each day as this department caters to the educational, social and recreational needs of our community. Special events, trips and happenings around town contribute to make this department and the Civic Center the hub of activity for all residents.
