Elmwood Park Bunny Trail: Saturday, April 1, 2023, 10 am - 1 pm at Elmwood Park
Bring your own Easter Basket and follow the Bunny Trail through the park making stops along the way! For residents 10 and under. Registration required
Memorial Day Services: Monday, May 29, 2023, 9:30 am on the Town Square
Service begins at the War Memorial. Procession to Maple Shade Cemetery and a graveside service will follow. After the services, join your friends and neighbors at Drug Mart to enjoy the sounds of the Independence High School Marching Band and a hotdog cookout. All cookout donations will benefit the I.H.S. Marching Band.

Remembrance Celebration: Thursday, December 14, 2023, 6:30 pm at the Civic Center
An evening to commemorate and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have passed away. This non-denominational service includes music, readings, and the name of your loved one read aloud as you place a remembrance ornament on the tree.
