Detective Bureau
Assist in the investigation of complex crime and help with community crime prevention.

Animal Control
The Animal Control Officer assists in the capturing and reunification of lost pets and controls the proliferation of wildlife in the community.

School Resource Officers
These officers assigned to the local schools to provide security and mentoring to school staff and pupils.

K9 Teams
We have two current police canine teams. These dogs are European bred, general duty police dogs that are trained in officer protection, tracking, and narcotic sniffs.

Bike Unit
We have three trained police bicyclists. These officers patrol the community to access areas of the city that a patrol car can't reach.

Special Weapons and Tactics Unit (Southwest Enforcement Bureau)
We are part of the Southwest Enforcement Bureau's SWAT Team. We have officers assigned to this team to handle any special circumstance calls involving a more aggressive police response because of the propensity of violence by the offenders.
