- In 2000, we instituted the Parent Pledge, giving parents a way to network and stand together on community values.
- In 2002, we worked with educators to replace D.A.R.E. at the High School. The new curriculum includes Binge Drinking, Date Rape Drugs and Club Drugs, Relationship Violence, Healthy Relationships, and Internet Safety.
- In 2003, we began awarding scholarships to graduating high school students.
- In 2005, established the Anti-Bully Committee which worked to implement a community-wide anti-bullying training program (No Bullies-No Victims). The outcome included standardized protocols for reporting and handling bullying incidents.
- In 2006, we formed the Risky Behaviors Committee to reaffirm the community's commitment to addressing issues of safety, including internet, alcohol, drug and sexual experimentation.
- In 2006, under the leadership of the Independence Primary School, we established the Character Counts Committee which implemented the Character Counts Program community-wide.
- In 2007, we established the Advocacy Team, which provides opportunities for parents/caregivers to learn how to advocate for students with special educational needs.
- In 2008, we supported the efforts of local parents and launched the "Teen Band Concert Series" giving local youth a venue in which to publicly display their talent to the community.
- In 2009, we held our 10th Anniversary Family Bowling Night Celebration!
- In 2010, we began supporting the secular efforts of middle and high school "Campus Life Clubs"
- In 2010, we introduced the Rachel's Challenge assembly, encouraging teens to make the right choice by accepting Rachel's Challenge.
- In 2011, added National Day of Prayer to the 25 & Alive agenda, which resulted in "travelling" prayer throughout the City.
- In 2012, sponsored our first Town Hall Meeting on Heroin, with speakers from the City, Schools, Churches, Law Enforcement, Treatment Community, and more, with over 800 in attendance
- In 2013, sponsored our second Town Hall Meeting, featuring Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph Pinjuh talking about the link between prescription drugs and heroin.
